MSU Football reportedly could end Ryan Walters' tenure at Purdue

If Michigan State beats Purdue on Friday night, then it could be curtains for Boilermakers head coach Ryan Walters

It’s probably already curtains for Walters. BoBo just doesn’t want to hire someone as an intern head coach for 2 games. Firing Walters now isn’t going to make a difference in the IU game.

Face it. A new coach hired after a loss at MSU isn’t going to make a difference against IU. Having an assistant coach take over for one game isn’t going to make a difference either.

You might as well keep Walters for the remainder of the season

They had Walters fire the OC without anyone else who could call offensive plays, it’s mostly symbolic. It is very common to have an interim head coach and Purdue fired hope and hazel mid season.

At this point I don’t care about msu, it’s all about the IU game and giving our team what they need to spoil IUs season with an upset win in front of their home crowd. Let Walters go, drop his stupid man coverage defense, simplify the offensive schemes and run the ball to control clock, don’t give them any film for what we’re planning. Hell bring in Brees for 1 game as a ceremonial coach and let him bring in his friends to call the offense and defense…it would be a highlight for the player’s careers.
