Some science says too many 3's

I actually wrote a paper when I was at Purdue for English 101 or 102 about how the 3-point line was too short and how it was killing the midrange game and normal offense. Of course that was when it was 19'9".

Remember the joke ACC- line.......inside the circle?

I believe taking the three is good if you have a good rebounding team that crashes the boards with two players inside grabbing the miss for an easy dunk. You could call the 3 point miss an actual pass and give the guard an assist. Who is to say if it was actually a shot or an intended alley oop pass?

My issue with many players today is that they just stand there and watch their shot. They don’t follow up their shot . They don’t run back on defense! They just stand there and watch!
