No, I don’t think so. The B10 isn’t great but
This team couldn’t beat Ball State so I expect a losing record. It’s at the point now where few really care about Purdue WBB. We just don’t care to go to games anymore. Unless you’re entertained by turnovers.

I can understand losing to a team that shoots better, or has better athletes. I just hate losing a game by playing poorly, by making dumb mistakes, and by turnovers. It jusat drives nuts to see the poor execution of our team. I'd like our team to look like we had coaches that know how to coach a team.

33 Turnovers and giving Miracle Gray a scholarship(Not a Div. 1 player) is all I need to know about this staff.

I didn't like the 33 turnovers either, but I thought Gray was a decent add to the squad. Maybe not as a starter, but she could and does play a reasonable backup guard:

• Ranked as the nation's 113th-best recruit by Blue Star
• Named to AAU All-Star teams at the USJN Indy 500, Windy City Classic and Bluestar Nationals
• Earned First Team All-Region honors as a senior, averaging 17.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.2 steals and 2.5 assists per game
• Surpassed 1,000 career points in 2015-16, and had her jersey retired at Stephenson
• Three-year team captain
• Led her squad to the Georgia AAAAA State Championship in 2015, scoring 13 points in the finals
• Earned honorable mention honors for the 2015 Naismith Award, awarded to the top high school players in the nation

People that go to the games in Mackey are telling me the attendance is down, they are selling tickets for $1 to get fannies in the seats. It's not a good time for this program. And it's way past time to get a new coach to lead this program.

This isn't football or men's basketball. The buyout is going to be more than any marginal revenue a change might generate. Doesn't mean a change can't be made but I don't think it's the same as buying out Hazell. The marginal revenue increase isn't nearly the same and as disappointing as this start has been, the program is still not nearly as low as the football program was under Hazell. I'm with illiniboiler. Too soon to make a call. If the team shows improvement, and alot of it, I'd probably be inclined to keep her. If we don't improve, not sure how many conference games we will win. It could get pretty ugly.

There is some talent. Harris is a talent, Lamina Cooper is a talent, Karissa McLaughlin is a talent, so is Oden. When all of these talents sophomores are seniors this will be a tough matchup for most teams. Hopefully it will happen under a new coaching staff.
