So, this happened today...

Love this type of stuff, but no way Fleck jets off for an entire day the Thursday before a game. And if he did, seems like people just might notice he's gone.

Not necessarily. He could easily have left his associate head coach in charge during the day after having a scheduled staff meeting in the early morning (which most programs do) and then returned for practice. Purdue starts their practices around 3 or 4pm, so not a stretch to think WMU would do something similar.

Also a flight from Charlottesburg (University of Virginia). Bronco Mendenhall is in his first year there but with the huge allegations against UVA under their former coach about hazing, think he may be looking for a way out to a better situation at Purdue? That is definitely not a name I would have ever considered but if he made himself available, what do you all think?

Now I could also be totally wrong and it could be a sports team flying in and then leaving...but couldn't think of anything right now that would be out of conference and flying in (doubt UVA would fly their cross country team in).

I know the 'zoo has got its own airport, but this would make for a more clandestine meeting, no?

Sure is fun to speculate!
Could it be a return flight? I think more likely than Fleck coming to Purdue would be Bobinski going to Western Michigan at this point.

I would think since he is under contract at Western, Western would not let him have direct contact/meetings with suitors until the conclusion of their regular season. That is just my guess. I think Bobinski now is making a list, reaching out through third parties, talking to agents.

I guess we'll find out soon. You don't do something like that unless you're seriously considering making the move mid season. We need boots on the ground to investigate! :D

You aren't fitting even a very small team on a Cessna Citation I or a Piaggio P180. 8 or 9 people max.
