So, Iran attacked US bases in Qatar today.

Granted, it was a weak attack with 14/15 missiles being destroyed before landing. It'll be interested to see the US response. While I'm not advocating for war, I'll be disappointed if Trump doesn't respond bigly and extremely harshly.

After reading more about the “attack” , I believe you’re right. It was a gentleman agreement that let Iran save a little face for their hardliners but in reality, posed minimal threat.

We're in agreement on that. Iran "had" to respond as purely a show for the 15% of their population that support the regime. Had it been a serious attack and caused US casualties, Iran would be flattened by now.
