So how is that ACC / Big East juggernaut looking?

With 30 to 40 teams in the tournament I'd think they would be a little stronger.

Xavier just absolutely waxed Florida State. However, Duke's road got a little easier today.

Let's compare top seeds as of now:

ACC- UNC (still in), Duke (Still in), UL (still in), FSU (out, 2nd round), Virginia (Still in), Notre Dame (out, 2nd round), Va Tech (out, 1st round), Miami (out, 1st round), Wake Forest (out, play in game). I think that's it. Their top 3 teams are still in, and VA has a tough task but a chance. The other 2 that were favored seeds won their 1st game and lost 2nd. Major upset was certainly FSU.

B1G- Purdue (still in), Minny (out, 1st round), Maryland (out, 1st round), Wisconsin (still in), UM (still in), MSU (still in), NW (out, 2nd round). Only 1 of top 3 seeds still in, certainly Wisky, UM and MSU have a chance. NW fought hard, but didn't have quite enough.

Very incomplete right now, obviously. ACC has NO ONE in the sweet 16, but I think gets 3 in. B1G has 1 so far, and it will be a battle to get more based upon seeding. After seeing X blow out FSU, it reminds you anything can happen in the tournament. Should be interesting to see what transpires the rest of the weekend and certainly for the next 2 weeks. Fun time of year!
