Slightly OT. Louisville

I saw the first half of that game. While Louisville did not do themselves any favors with lousy shot selection and trying to dribble drive into triple coverage, the officiating was extremely one sided. Every shot that Kentucky took in the first half was an "and 1" (regardless of whether there was contact or not) and Louisville players were getting mugged in the paint with no calls.
Both of Louisville's two bigs had 2 fouls at the 10 minute mark of the first half. There was a goal-tend against Kentucky that was then "reviewed" and waived off. There was offsetting fouls of two players going at it that resulted in free throws for Kentucky only.
I have no love for either team, but Louisville definitely got shafted.

The real season is about to begin for Kentucky beating an average team like Louisville not saying much we’ll see come Sunday and the rest of SEC play against teams with experience better guard play and bigs to match there athleticism and size will get truly tested for sure.

KY was only 2 spots behind us in the AP last week. We beat the UL by 9. KY beat them by 29. Are we about to get leapfrogged again?

I get what you saying but really who have they beaten. Nobody in top 25 or top 30 and schedule was very weak. All I’m saying SEC much better this year that many teams are gonna give Kentucky fits. They will not run the table as many have said or bcuz they beat a not so good Louisville team by 30. It will get more interesting now bcuz a lot of those teams can match what they really on have athletes and athleticism not necessarily skilled players are on Kentucky roster. Well see how they do as conference play out

just got pantsed and had their jockstraps handed back to them in Rupp.

All the cheating aside, Pitino was a great coach. Louisville has tons of talent and has looked flat all year. Which is really unfortunate for Purdue's SOS.

What’s really unfortunate for our SOS is that Lipscomb has a higher RPI than every B1G team right now except Sparty.

I believe Purdue will always run the risk of the voters voting for teams like U.K. and Arizona ahead of them. There is one very easy solution. Don't worry about the ratings and just win. Even if we are given a #1 seed, we will still have to play teams like Duke, UK, Nova, Kansas etc somewhere in the tourney. We shouldn't worry about their ratings, just believe in ourselves and be prepared and play our game!
