Shelton Mitchell transferring

A once highly-touted point guard who saw his ranking dip because of injury. Ended up at Vandy after de-committing from Wake Forest. Any chance Painter takes a look at him? He is a 'true' PG. Doesn't have a great shot, but sounds like he knows how to run a team, and is probably leaving because Riley LaChance looks like he has the starting PG spot locked down for the foreseeable future.

Wade Baldwin was the primary 1 for Vanderbilt this past season. LaChance played more as a 2 (although you're right, he can play both with some success).

Mitchell seems like he can be a pretty good player, but why did he give up on Vandy so quickly? He has potential but he will have to sit out next season, no matter where he goes. I don't know if he's worth the investment, knowing that he has to sit out.
