This is a 100% serious question: Is wearing a mask in public a symbolic gesture that you side with the Democrat party? Does it say more than "I'm concerned about catching covid"?

I read somewhere that it was the equivalent of the MAGA hat for Trump supporters.

Just curious to hear opinions on this.

😉 Even though most people wear cloth mask that are 50-60% effective, at best.

what a cloth mask really says is that I’ll try to do what everyone tells me to do….even though if I read I might figure out that wearing an N95 mask would be best if I really wanted to stop the spread of COVID.

(Amazing that people are beginning to say this out loud in the public education forum now and not a year ago 🤷‍♂️)

I’m fully vaxxd and boostered.
if a person is so high risk, they should probably stay home. Others peoples health is not my responsibility, therefore, I don’t wear a mask.

Fauci and CDC haven't made that a point of emphasis. Vast majority of people have been wearing cloth masks, because they have been told they work.
