Caught this on Indianapolis Star about Joe Gilliam passing away at 26 years of age....

One thing that Purdue and IU fans can unite on is a hatred of cancer....my sister-n-law had to have surgery to beat it..

May the family and Purdue family find peace during this time.

Stories like this and Andrew Smith are heartbreaking. I read about it this morning and had a knot in my chest. This is a time to set the rivalry aside for a moment.

Very sorry for his loss!! I hate cancer, it took mom and dad from me within the last 5 years. Damn doctors need to find the cures!!
