They are a balanced team. Turnovers will be a big key here - and we need our bigs to be efficient and not play slow....and not get in foul trouble.

I watched them in their conf title game, they did not look to be one of those athletic teams that give us fits and Albanys rather pedestrian big man scored inside on them. If Albany could have pried the ball out of their ballhog guard, they could have won. We should score inside at will.
I think we got a really good draw. Who ever knows what they committee thinks?? I have never placed much faith in Lunardi...a guy making a living playing an expert and is nothing more than a blowhard. The committee does seem to value the regular season over the conference tournaments and I think that is the way it should be. Just because you play well for TH-SUN shouldn't move you up much. Play well Nov-March. We did for the most part. Boiler Up!! Beat Vermont and get AT LEAST to Sweet 16.

they have NO BIGS... they are not a guard led team that shoots a lot of 3s... they actually made 60 less 3's than us.. they are not a senior led team
their top 3 scorers all average LESS than 1 made 3 per game
1st round, we absolutely should crush it... like, it would take the absolute worst performance of all time to lose that game
2nd round matchup, both nevada and iowa state are senior led, with good guard play and 3 point shooting, that is scary. But neither team has bigs... so, it will be interesting

After Vermont, I think this is a really undesirable draw for us. Iowa State has great guards, and then we would have to play KU in KC.
I was thinking that too, FDB. Maybe would have been a four in a different bracket....like the West perhaps. All in all...just hope the Boilers play well, and let the chips fall where they may. I already know some chips will get tossed come TH.

Any 12 seed is a dangerous team. Obviously if the #5 team "shows up" and plays their A-game, it usually will work out fine. But that's not what happens often in the NCAA....
Hey, if that's really Jesus, tell him to say a little prayer for us Boiler fans.....or better yet, can he turn a #4 seed into a Final Four?
Purdue has a common component in both Nevada (Utah State) 2-1 and Iowa State (Iowa) lost at Iowa too by 14...and beat Indiana State by 2 in Ames.
I agree about Iowa St, but after the first round the competition increases dramatically. There are no easy games after the first round. Eventually you are going to have to upset a 1 or 2 seed. Just play hard and play smart and don't worry about the rest.
Clark doesn't like our team. I noticed he was picking NW in the finale and scoffed at his studio partner who was picking us.
I can't stand Kellog. Not sure why he doesn't like us, but it sure seems like he doesn't for some reason. If so, the feeling is mutual.
