Thought I'd post this here since we are a public university in Indiana with a football team. Amazing to me how this is going down.

I will indeed be very proud of any kid of mine going to college. But there are certain campuses/communities where college athletics has too much power. That is where you get these dead end investigations, dropped charges, handshake deals.

"Proud" and "nervous" aren't mutually exclusive here.

Gov. Rick Pence vetoed the bill although it was passed in a practically unanimous vote in each house. It will be interesting to see if the override the veto. Was it a symbolic vote to protect the politicians' access to football tickets?
