So frustrating.

I'm grateful for the improvements...being average is an improvement over last year.
But for the love of God, I don't understand how a guy that goes for a fake punt, can get so conservative on the last few drives. Running Blough on the last drive, really? Two QB sneaks last week against Rutgers on 3rd and 4th and 1! Good teams find a way to win and we are still not a good team.

I thought the defense played pretty well until that last drive when they went into flag football no pass rush mode.

The offense didn't help very much down the stretch. We just don't have many play makers on that side of the ball.

Darrell Hazell's recruiting classes were essentially at the bottom of the BTN every year. It is not surprising that this is happening despite Brohm's efforts

What kind of recruits did he have at Western? These are his players and probably better players than he had there. No excuses, just bad play calling on both sides. This isn't Western Kentucky anymore where that stuff worked. We need to play with the big boys.

Play calling on offense and defense were horrific in the last 5 minutes and being conservative cost us the game. It was 100% a coaching break down.

With that said, these players are better than those at Western, but the teams we play against are also better.
