To me one of the worst lessons in a sports movie is clubber Lang losing to Rocky.. after clubber beat Rocky he seemed just as salty as before he won … those types usually get the job done the second time around
For sure even though we're currently the biggest favorite at -12.5. Zags are next at -9.5 and then Kansas-7.5. So close but we need to maintain this level of defensive effort. I like our chances!
That's already priced-in. The oddsmakers aren't idiots.
Oddly, I'm feeling pretty comfortable about this game. I think we saw something in the Texas game.

I will admit I have looked past this game and thinking much more about UNC and UCLA. Hope the players don't take my approach.

2018 - #16-seed UMBC lost to #9-seed Kansas State, 50-43 (the ultimate bracket implosion where 1-seed Virginia and 4-seed Arizona lost in the first round and 2-seed Cincinnati and 3-seed Tennessee lost in the second round....then 5-seed Kentucky lost in the Regional Semi-Final and 11-seed Loyola-Chicago made it to the National Semi-Finals).
1993 - #15-seed Santa Clara lost to #7-seed Temple, 68-57.
1997 - #15-seed Coppin State lost to #10-seed Texas, 82-81.
2022 - #15-seed St. Peters defeated #7-seed Murray State, 70-60.
So, the next game after a big win........a loss. Feeling like that trend will continue. St Pete comes back to Earth.

I'm not so sure about that. If we do get hot, we should pour it on. I want our confidence at peak level Sunday. Juices flowing and emotions high. It's time to bulldoze the bracket!
