MSU prevailed due to a made 3. That still was amazing for Rutgers to hang around with MSU to OSU.
Not so safe any more in BIG, even the home games if not careful..
When he made the three I knew it was over even though there was plenty of time left I knew Rutgers would try a three and miss and then foul. game overMSU prevailed due to a made 3. That still was amazing for Rutgers to hang around with MSU to OSU.

Those last two Rutgers possessions in regulation were brutal. Only one player (Sanders) touched the ball both times. Sure he might have been the guy last night and the main scoring threat, but you have to run some offense. Give it up and trust you'll get it back. The last shot almost went in, but they could have gotten a better one.
Learning experiences.....and part of learning how to win. To me (but candidly I don't see as many games as I used to), it's a trend that has been developing for a while now in those situations where it turns into isolation play often with less experienced teams. It's one thing if there's a clear mismatch...or an advantage on a break. I saw a similar situation with Wake Forest at the end of their game in Chapel Hill.
I also think Rutgers may be building something more respectable, slowly. There had been way too much instability there.....now that it may be shored up, there is an opportunity with where they're located....plenty of possible access to good East Coast players. JMHO.
Now.....kindly.....GET OFF my lawn.
