Romeo Langford...

This thread thus far has been realistic about the odds of the #2 player in the USA coming to us but I anticipate a strong "he was our top priority and we whiffed" narrative coming this summer. Now on to the dreaming part of the program.
Imagine:
Carsen Edwards (jr)
Nojel Eastern (so)
Romeo Langford (fr)
Ryan Cline (sr)
As our guard pool...you might play some four guard lineups with that bunch!

Do you mean the chances to get a commit from a nationwide top 10 player right now, or after Biggie and Co. win the ncaa title game?

Did Jim Master (University of Kentucky) also play @ Harding?
Here's where I need Punaj's help, but Harding had some incredible athletes in the 80's beyond Riley and Masters. Titus Hunter had an offer to Iowa if I remember correctly but didn't qualify (he was amazing) and Jason Edwards was also a beast but didn't qualify either (maybe a reason why Harding is no longer a functioning school) but ended up a couple years later at Indiana State and had a decent season or two.

I would agree. Most of these kids at Duke, Stanford, Cal, aren't enrolled in the academic side of the universities.
I'd have to disagree on Cal and Stanford. Stanford and Cal aren't pumping out NBA talent. Cal has had Rabb and Brown but the rest are four year guys and Stanford is graduating its players. I'm just saying Duke can get any kid they want and that happens to be the one and done guys. Those guys aren't enrolling to graduate they just want to play for the best CBB coach.

FWIW wasn't someone on here months ago swearing he knew FOR SURE Romeo was interested in Purdue?

I've seen more than one person claim that Langford really likes Painter and that Purdue is definitely in the running. But, those same people also said Purdue was not leading.

What I was saying, apparently not well, is that the curriculum kids follow at those schools are often different paths than the normal student.
