Premier athletes want to go to a program where they can have fun but where they also know their pre-conference schedule will not be against a bunch of Patsys that nobody wants to watch on TV.
They also want to know they are going to have away games that have some anticipation like playing at Notre Dame, in the Carrier Dome, at TCU, at Oregon State and whatever else they come up with.

Agreed. But the recruits we’re currently going after are also being recruited by some of the best programs who don’t shy away from playing anybody anywhere.

True with regards to some of them, but not true with Wisconsin, are you, Minnesota, Cincinnati and others. I’m just saying you’re definitely correct but with many of our recruits we stand out for that reason maybe but I could be wrong. Just something I thought of when I saw who some of these teams have played so far this year.

Umm the SEC won’t play anyone anywhere. Next year they play 4 P5 OOC teams on the road combined (including us against Vandy).
