Disclaimer: I am a Painter backer....yes, STILL.

When things go bad, like last night, the Painter bashing starts. We hear things like, "he's lost them," "he makes bad in-game decisions," "he can't recruit," and my personal favorite, "he's in over his head." These are all seen as valid reasons...even though 99% of the people on this board do not have any knowledge to prove it (except maybe the recruiting. You can make that argument without having any inside info).

However, when people try to defend Painter (you know since he doesn't play), and use points like: the players missing 2 footers, guys not rebounding, Kendall missing 60% of the game, bad decision making, not making FT's, etc., it's always called "excuses." Even though, these are things you can actually witness by watching the game.

It's why you can't have a good conversation on this board. Double standards.

Is this team giving us a reason to be happy? No, not always. Is it all Painter's fault? No. Some of it? Yes. But that can't be discussed, because you HAVE to be in one camp or the other and any argument for the opposite side is disregarded. It's Republicans and Democrats. Nothing gets done.
