I've been on this site for a few years. I know how it is on here, but today takes the cake for me. I was pretty impressed (and so were the people with me) at the turnout for the game today. We had quite a few butts in the seats. But, people on here are complaining about the 40,000 empty seats. Not even close to being true. The student section was almost full today - against Indiana STATE! Purdue came up with a great gimmick to get the students to come to football games and only a few people say anything positive about it. People had to wait 20 minutes in line to get food and drinks (what exactly are you expecting?) and it completely ruined their experience. Really? The cell service was much improved, but people are complaining about that as well. The product on the field was sloppy at times, but as a whole, we played a good game today. We gave up some big plays, but other than that there wasn't much to complain about. So I thought! People just love to complain! They don't have much bad to say about the game itself, so they have to make up things to whine about. That's crazy. I would hate my life if the only way I felt somewhat happy was when I was complaining.
Take a deep breath and try to enjoy some positives, guys.
