RE: Potts

Wow I have mentioned him a lot , but nobody took me seriously and said no way he'd be interested in Purdue. he was supposed to be signed, sealed and delivered to ND or IU. Times have changed.! I also noticed he is our lone top priority. The best way to a successful program is to keep the best players from the state in the state.

That website has no dedicated purdue coverage and that list hasnt been updated since Hazell was canned.

I would disagree. and agree. Both sites have pluses and minuses. This site provides information quicker, but it's usually part of a tease to get you to buy their VIP insider. This site shows pictures and headlines , but seldom releases names or the story unless you pay for it. 24/7 is slower, but provides more information. When Hazell was canned, that site had a lot more players listed as top targets, so it has been updated. I recommend following both sites. The quickest update is to be able to follow a recruit's tweets. in following White's tweets, you could tell about 2 weeks ago, he changed his mind about Purdue.

247 provides more free information. Doesnt mean its always correct. 247 hasnt been as valuable for purdue specific since Gardener left the site.

still has Mitch West committed...

yes you are right. Even I posted West had left. however, I'm not big dissing other sites or people. it offers some things this site doesn't and vice versa. And I'd believe you more , if you provided more as part of your posts

Potts said in an article recently, that IU was his #1 leader and that he would commit to a school soon.

I can agree with what Potts said. But I also looked at IU's secondary. And of all of his choices, IU has the most returning players at his position. IU is a great educational institution. But if I were him, I'd go to a place like Purdue where I could make an instant impact and become a star. he would also have a chance to play for Poindexter who wasn't too shabby himself. I'm not sure if that's a deciding factor for him, but it would be for me.

I have to believe if Potts really liked IU, he would have committed a long time ago. I also believe the reason he hasn't committed is that he is waiting for an offer that hasn't come. I also believe Potts comments were made before Brohm's staff was announced. Since he still hasn't committed, there is always a chance he will change his mind. I've read several people say he's also interested in ND. Well, Purdue is in the same geographical location as ND, and our academic programs are on par with them. Potts could be a star at Purdue. I realize it's not his dream or first choice. But maybe, once he looks at all the factors including players at his position, he may decide Purdue is the best fit/match. I still want to add Williams as well.

You can see the clusterf@ck when a tweet from a player gets the OC canned. The infighting has begun.

Not really. That "player" is leaving the team. And Johns and Patton were big Wilson guys. Plus, I think Allen wanted to go with more experience on his offensive staff.

Waaaaay too much wishful thinking going on with Purdue fans.

LOL. If anyone needs to wish for anything it's Hoosier fans. When was your last winning season again? If you need to consult Wikipedia, then that's just sad.

I would be stunned if Potts was academically eligible, or was going to be (or would remain so), never mind the baggage of his pops. His academic status has far more to do with his offers or lack thereof I would have to think, and that situation is not likely to change.
