Rapheal Davis stroll down memory lane

Did Rapheal just take credit for the entire second half of that season AND Purdue's last 10 years of success from one of his own half-time speeches? That must have been some speech!
I find it baffling that iu is not chasing him down this very moment

I think it’s mostly TIC, but in all honesty, Raphael was probably the most important (player) driver of the culture change that Purdue has maintained to this point.

It definitely came across as a little arrogant but he definitely deserves some major props.

I remember it well. Kendall Stephens crazy improbable 3 off a missed free throw sent it to OT.

I too remember Kendall's shot and how Matt played the 2-3 with AJ which led to a huge basket for North Florida...along the baseline with the trigger man in an old high school out of bounds commonly used play diagonal from Purdue's bench

I didn't take it that way, but perhaps it is because Matt has given Rapheal major props for his leadership that year.

Both he and Cam were 2 big recruits out of Southside. Wasn't Raphael originally a top 50 recruit? I can remember playing against Cam aka the Shaq of the SAC at St Patrick's church in Fort Wayne. His South team was very good with Kizer as well.
