10 of the 14 Big Ten programs will start a new quarterback in 2023. How do they stack up?

Boiler Upload ranks the projected starting quarterbacks for each team in the conference. (FREE).

While trying not to sound negative about Card, the fact that he's #5 on this list speaks volumes about the question marks across the conference at the position.

I thought that seemed like a pretty fair ranking. The bigger programs are going to have talent and depth so UM, PSU, and OSU are fair. Then MU has experience (not to mention an older brother) so until Hudson completes a pass at Purdue that seems reasonable. If the air attack is as open as we are hearing, it won't take long for him to prove himself capable or not.

There are a ton of question marks. I know this list won’t be perfect, but tried my best to projected where each guy would be.
I don't disagree with your list at all, but as you said, from 5-10 or so, it feels like a lot is hard to determine.

The lack of experience for most of these guys makes it very difficult to project. You're relying mostly on recruiting rankings and assumptions regarding each player's surrounding cast. My view is that #s 5-14 in particular are reasonable guesses but could just as easily be chosen by picking names randomly out of a hat.
