NT Mo Omonode
- Works late after each practice
- Been great coming here early; learning system; knows what he needs to improve
- Sees improvement; always getting better
- Feel like I belong, always did
- Size, height has been motivation
- Hopes to have a role in the fall, no matter how big or small
- Driven by those who think he’s too short
- Wants to show his height doesn’t matter
- Heard knocks on his height at least 20 times from college coaches
- Has gotten stronger
- Fun to play with fellow WL Red Devils Yanni Karlaftis, Kyle Adams and Caleb Krockover
- Yanni is “my brother”
- Branson Deen is a good example for me; helped Mo a lot
- Have added 15 pounds
- Played soccer, basketball and wrestled in high school; those sports helped him become quicker
OT Mahamane Moussa
- Hopes to start more than half the games
- Played as a true freshman; put a lot of trust in me to do that
- Always been a patient guy; youngest of three boys
- Came in last summer at 270 and is 310 now
- Feel good with my weight; can still move
- Gotten better with my hands
- Playing tackle, could play guard if needed
- Did shot and discus in high school
- Wants to improve footwork
LEO Scotty Humpich
- Why Purdue? Good Zoom calls with Coach Hagen; good fit, wanted to play LEO; Hagen a great coach I wanted to play for
- Coach Hagen has taken my pass rush to another level, pre-snap work, too, and playbook knowledge
- Overlooked coming out of high school; given me a chip on my shoulder
- Little brother plays at New Mexico State
- Plays fast, likes flashy pass rush moves
- My skill set fits LEO spots, can cover and set the edge
- Coach Hagen was top reason why I came to Purdue
- Need to learn more of the playbook and what others are doing, too
- Was at Murray State with Ja Morant, ran into him a few times in dining hall
