Question RE: Brohm to Louisville

Okay, using your scenario, let's assume Brohm really wants the Card job but he decides to wait for it at a later time. But then, Louisville finds the next Bobby Bowden and Brohm never has that chance again. The old saying....never look a gift horse in the mouth might never be truer.
As it relates to Uof L........ I`m having a difficult time seeing a gift horse......
Howard Sch to OKU
Road Rash left for the Falcons.. Good Move....
Strong to Teaxas
I see home town, I don`t see the gift horse.

Yep, he was your teammate. All State offensive lineman here in Indiana. Asked him his thoughts but he really didn't feel one way or another on Brohm. Btw, Josh Richardson is his name.
Josh was my roommate in 95. Fort Wayne guy. He now lives in my hometown in ga. Small world. We came in to Louisville together.

Going home is nice and I could see the possibility of it happening, but the timing isn't right. If Brohm had taken over a Purdue program that was humming along and just continued that trend, then perhaps. But everyone knows that is not the case; he is the beginning stages of a major rebuild and could have Purdue being ultra competitve in a couple of more years. To leave now would basically throw away all the good you have done for the past 2 years. If he were to leave, Purdue would regress significantly and it would take probably 5 years or more to recover from the damage. The Louisville job will be there in the future almost for certain if he ever wants it. If he were to leave, I would not be happy about it given the circumstances. If it were me I would be staying at Purdue and finishing what I started.
