Could someone help me to understand one of the statistics on the football home page? How many kick off yards are reported by our stats folks for an out-of-bounds kick? I think the ball is placed at the 35 yard line.
Could someone help me to understand one of the statistics on the football home page? How many kick off yards are reported by our stats folks for an out-of-bounds kick? I think the ball is placed at the 35 yard line.
Since the referees do not mark the location where the kickoff actually went out of bounds, I assume an out of bounds kickoff is listed statistically as a 30 yard kickoff that also nets 30 yards when placed at the 35 yard line.
