I haven't had the opportunity to see this kid but I like what I'm hearing from what's been written. It looks as though he is a capable dual-threat QB and athlete. Plus, he is willing to do whatever is best for the team and has been playing WR because of the lack of depth. The article said they have a package for him as a QB. I would guess that's some type of wildcat type of thing. That is exciting and says a lot of what the staff thinks of him right there. I know there wasn't a lot of fan fare about the kid as he was the only QB recruit last year who jumped on late and was "only a 2 star" guy that had been committed to Southern Miss. Perhaps we found a capable diamond in the rough type of kid. I'm looking forward to seeing his progress.

Agreed. He sounds confident, but not cocky. I really appreciated numerous times he mentioned "too help the team" and "whatever the Coaches want", we need a team full of players with this attitude! It sounds like he really benefited from the RS year, good for him and the team. He will surprise some teams with different schemes they install!
