I happen to think that when you boil it all down, your wins (or your record) against Quad 1 + Quad 2 is the best metric for NCAA Tournament selection and seeding. Nothing is a perfect science, and there is more to it than that, but I think it's the most important of all the ingredients.

List of Q1+Q2 wins:

12 - Auburn
12 - Alabama
10 - Texas A&M
10 - Purdue
9 - Florida
9 - Oregon
9 - Wisconsin
9 - Marquette
9 - Iowa State

I have to give my annual rant about Houston.......where are they on this list??

Purdue will have quite a few more Quad 1 opportunities in the second half of the B1G season. Should be an interesting next 6 weeks.

It's crazy they've played 5 teams on that list.

Purdue's SoS is why I'm still holding out hope they could catch paper tiger MSU.

Not to rant, but MSU caught another break not having to play at the Rack and Ron Harper Jr out. Their 2 game lead is huge, but I'm just waiting for them to go on a 4 game skid at some point 🧐
