This game was all mental. Bryson Scott is in their heads. They are not as bad as they played tonight. Plus 16 threes helps. Still funny though.
IU has sucked for years. So no, it’s not really stupid. What’s really stupid is your school intentionally fouling with 40 seconds left down by 20.
Bryson would be an All-American if he played IU every year.
Not gonna lie, I do Archie Miller as their coach. If they get back to Xs and Os in basketball, not just running and gunning, then they'll be a consistent top 25 team like Purdue.. the days of being a consistent national title contender are over. They need to realize that they're not on the same level as Duke, UNC, Kentucky, Kansas, MSU. Once they do, they'll be a very good team who may be a title contender every 3/4 years

Man I was all in on Arch. And to an extent, I still am. But to lose to ISU and FW by 20+ at home, justs makes you step back. Look, I understand bothof these teams shot out of their minds; At one point FW hit 14 of 15 three's. So I get that. But damn. Just frustrating.

NO Big team should get beat on their home floor like that. Missed the first half, but saw a team not guarding people the second half and just not ready to play. Even the Austin brothers did not go 5-0 against IU...I don't think ???? Just because IU played terrible tongiht doesn't mean they are terrible...too much talent that "maybe" is not on the same page

Wasn't him that really hurt us. It was Harell. Came in averaging 12. Scored 28 on 6-10 three's. Scott was great. But Harell's performance was a head scratcher. Came in shooting 32% from three----shot 60% tonight.

I missed the first half and never saw any D the second and so I wouldn't know. Their press looked zone matching to man or maybe man (not guarding the triggerman) and then all three going for the ball. Probably just man to get a quick foul, but the fouls were so quick you couldn't see much...

Exactly what? It's a stupid chant. No other school----Not Duke, UNC, UK, UL, IU, etc, etc...ever chant this. Much less suring a game when they're not even playing said team. I get it. It's a Purdue thing. And If I were a Purdue fan, I'm sure I'd be on board with it. ANd hell after all, it 's college kids having a good time. Still doesn't change the fact it's stupid. Sure IU hasn't been the IU it was. But you do realize that in most of the years, well, IU didn't suck.

FT Wyane really has a solid game plan. used their wuickness to force our bigs away form the basket, then exploited our inability to cover the three. Fortunately for them, they went 17-30 from three. Including a stretch where they hit 14 of 15. Ft. Wayne is really quick. Pass the ball well. And well, tonight obviously shoit it well.
Still no excuse. We consistently continue to leave shooters. Like ISU, FW made us pay.
Frustrating after such a good showing Saturday. Oh, well.
Not really. We crash with all 5, leaving shooters wide open. I understand there;s a learning curve. I mean this is probably the first time since HS, sans the freshman, that these guys have been taught defense. Even then, basketball is basketball. Don't leave shooters.
Maybe. They hot quite few contested shots as well. That harell kidhit at least two, step back three's with Green all over him. Hit one over Morgan as well.

no question those and a couple were inmpressive shooting...how about the freshman guard? seemed pretty composed as a freshman...
