Like I said.True. The meltdown is normally last 2 minutes of the 2nd half not the 1st.
Gus Johnson is kind of a blowhard. I know many love him but I do not. In truth, I think most commentators are useless - I'd prefer they just pipe in the crowd noise on broadcasts.C'mon Gus. One of the best drives you've ever seen? It was solid, yes. Oh well....c'est la vie.
We could have came close if we just ran it like twice in either of those two drives. This is why we need a strong running game. In the bank if we could run out the clock
They're more disciplined, for sure. I think we were more explosive but also way more mistake prone. If we played them 10 times, I think we'd split or come close (they're just a bit better than us, but it's a pretty even matchup). Honestly, I am pleasantly surprised. I expected some kind of catastrophe.PSU mentally better than Purdue
I think it’s worse than that. That was awful.Absolutely poor clock management
Didn’t execute four minute offenseI think it was big time clock mismanagement. We didn’t even try to milk the clock in a quarter where we couldn’t move the ball at all.
We are so mentally weak. Downing doesn't get out of bounds.
He was 2 yards from the sidelineHe had to stop the play, IMO.....take the TO.
He sucks.Gus Johnson is kind of a blowhard. I know many love him but I do not. In truth, I think most commentators are useless - I'd prefer they just pipe in the crowd noise on broadcasts.
His coach should have done a better job of using time when he could of so he wouldn’t leave that decision up to a player. I just don’t understand not using any time or trying to get them to use a TO. I don’t get it. We had two drives that took off like 2 minutes in game time.He was 2 yards from the sideline
Hey, I'm completely with you on that. His coach should have done a better job of using time when he could do he wouldn’t leave that decision up to a player. I just don’t understand not using any tone or trying to get them to use a TO. I don’t get it. We had two drives that took off like 2 minutes in game time.
