Three straight nice shooting halves - especially compared to the previous few games. That was a solid effort and still some room to improve, clean up.....but, when Penn State started to miss, Purdue made them pay. Salvaged the tough stretch this week.

And Purdue won with Robbie announcing. Green reffed a good game today, I thought it was one of the best reffed games of the year.

Yes - 71-68 in 1994 - Purdue went scoreless the last 3 and a half minutes. Until the Michigan game late in the season - looked like that one was going to cost the Boilers a shot at the conference title.
I bet Purdue today, even when they were down by 6 at half I thought I had a chance, Penn State played out of their ass that first half, Purdue wasn’t that bad. Haas was no where near the rebounder Edey is, much more agile and quicker to the ball. Haas got many by just being hard to move out from the basket but certainly wasn’t great considering his size.

Zach Edey has been a terror on the boards and has really gone up a notch on the defensive glass. When he knocked over Caleb Furst tonight to get one, it took me back to days of Biggie Swanigan.
