Vegas had this game -7 Mizzou, as if the oddsmaker didn't watch them give up 35 against Missouri State in the first half of that game.
That was a feel sorry for Mizzou call. Yuck
How did they call that a forward pass. Thats so bad
If that was a pass, how was it not intentional grounding? In the pocket, not near a receiver, and not beyond the line of scrimmage.
It tastes sweet for a change that it isn't mattering.....so far.
That was a good possession for the Boilers to flip the field position after being in the shadow of their own goal line. Plus, Missouri has already burned a time out.....so far so good.
I am a Purdue grad who has long lived in Michigan, went to U-M grad school and love both teams.

Why do they hardly ever mention Mike Phipps? Beat ND three times, IIRC....went to the playoffs once with the Browns I think as well.
That will certainly be a totally different level of competition.....on both sides of the ball.....am curious to see what Purdue can do.....but it's going to be a stiff test to hang with Michigan.
This was a pleasant surprise to dominate in this fashion on the road even if Missouri is down.
That was a nice to see from Hardy....still with full effort when the game is essentially over and steals the football away.

Right. At least there will be some anticipation and excitement for the game. this start is way beyond my expectations.
Brohm plays it close to the vest. Should have seen the spring game...he arguably three better than Blough and Sindelar.

Hope McCollum's injury isn't Serious and that he and Jallow can play next week!
And on a down note, it appears we only have 4-5 scholarships left to give out to the elite players who earlier were taking a wait and see approach!

the foundation is being layed this year, now we need some ellte recruits to sign on.
Purdue would have lost to Ohio and Missouri the last three years. Seeing a coach that knows what he is doing is refreshing. He is the absolute right hire. Everybody was expecting a 3-4 year turnaround. If Purdue plays competitively with Michigan having a team filled with 2-3 star players, that would be real impressive. Purdue has a punchers chance against Michigan since it is at home.
