I just wrote a, short story about guy who was under fire in Afghanistan at 18... He was mature - - - his high school girlfriend at home was getting laid by a jerk.. . She was not mature... It's not about age.
Loved Matt giving Lavin crap for playing zone when he got his first head coaching job, after stressing man-to-man concepts at Purdue.
Yes....though Lavin was pretty quick with an "adjustment" saying you have to play to your personnel.....great exchanges there.
Haarms was damn good! Almost as good as Haas. That is one hell of a 5 combo.

I thought after his last bucket, he might even throw in a “Purdue keeping Marquette at Haarms length”, but no.
Carsen tied his career high with 6 rebounds. It's the first time he's had that many rebounds since his first game as a Boiler.
I saw a lot of hand checking by MU on our guards. I thought that would usually draw a foul. I guess it is okay to bump a Purdue dribbler too? How odd?
It also seemed that with every inside shot we took we got a lot of hand slapping on the arms from those guys too. I understand that some of the home court advantage is that the refs tend to call the 50-50 calls in your favor, but that game was a little over the top.

Sorry. Didn’t mean to imply he should be ahead of PJ. Just meant that he was struggling. I️ think PJ is fantastic and is absolutely critical to this teams success.
