Frustrated by this loss because due to the gift IU provided by beating MSU. Had Purdue won at UM, they could have added to their games up over UM/MSU. After the championship game and loss of talent, we had lower expectations due to the rebuilding year. But, Purdue goes out and wins and gets themselves ranked in the top 10, raising expectations of fans.

Had we lost by 10 at UM, I would chalk it up to development as it is hard to win on the road within the B10. But, to go out and play well enough to get a lead only to play bad enough to lose the lead is frustrating. Ugly turn overs and missed offensive opportunities (e.g., bobbling the dump off pass, not able to finish strong) are not acceptable in February.

Losing by 2 can also fall in to this category. At the start of the season we all knew this was a rebuilding year but to be top 10 and tops in the conference .... is something.

Sure there were mistakes and a lot of reasons we lost, but people need to step away from the ledge. All of this will help this team develop in to an even better team next season. My expectations weren't high going in to this season but so far they have been exceeded.

Posts like yours just show how spoiled we are as a fanbase.

At the start of this season, we were picked to win the Big Ten … by the same media who usually hate us.
