I think we have the best offensive line we’ve had in 4-5 years. All we need is the OL to get enough of a running game to keep the defenses off balance. I’m expecting Purdue to be able to generate 100+ on the ground this year anyone that’s not a top 25 team. We still struggle running it against ND and OSU and a few others.

I think the defense makes a comeback and puts together a decent season. We still struggle to rush the passer and I’m the secondary. 6-6 is my prediction.

My thoughts as well. Team actually will be pretty solid. 7-5 tho for me

We had a lot of honorable mention OLman last year. I'm interested in seeing Johnson. He hasn't been bad and is finally not an underclassmen.

The WKU kid will be a good player for us. Hartwig has enormous potential. Craig can be really good for us if he’s healthy. Long was good. I believe we have potential for a pretty good offensive line. It’s an improving unit IMO. I also believe some depth is starting to happen as well.

And him and the WKU kid should bring some power to the line. Hartwig as well, but he is still young. Zander had 129 yards vs Iowa and 102 vs Illinois. I think the injuries started to add up on the line after those two games.

I'd say 4-8 is the floor and 7-5 is the ceiling, unless the defense really gels.

Edit: Now that Watts is out for a significant portion of the season, I'll revise my predictions. 3-9 is the floor and 6-6 is the ceiling. We have no significant depth at the DT position.

No. I was saying we don't have significant proven depth. We have depth at the position. No idea how good it is though. Very green. That was my point.

What's last years run game have to do with this year? We will attempt to run the ball. Will we be a run dominant team? No. Nor should we. But we will get back to running like the first couple years under Brohm as the line and backs develop.
