Purdue just (apparently) lost a commitment in Tulane and now may be trying to pull one away.
Oklahoma offensive lineman Alex Criddle says he was offered by Purdue over the phone today. This is not a written offer yet, but suffice to say Purdue probably would not be calling this player to tell him they were offering without it being a legitimate deal.
Criddle is committed to Tulane right now and said he doesn't know yet whether he'll take more visits.
Purdue seems intent to take another offensive lineman in this class, with guard being the likely position.
Defensive end commitment Jacoby Hill is believed to have just switched his pledge to Tulane after a visit there, but he has not acknowledged that being his choice as of yet and has said that he is working on scheduling an official visit to Purdue, maybe for the late-September Bowling Green game.
