Cold and windy day up in the windy city and hopefully our Boilermakers live up to their burly reputation and can pound the Cats in to submission today with a four headed stable of RB's in Knox, Fuller, Jones, and Worship!

Prediction: Sindelar is able to find some success in the air with the short crossing routes against NU's freshman LB early on to drive Purdue to an early 14-10 lead but the NU Fighting Fiztgerald's button up their defense in the second half and control the game with Jackson in the backfield to a 30 - 17 victory.

I am headed to game and game time temp forecast is 32* with 12-15 mph winds. If you thought our receivers could not catch in clear,sunny,mild conditions, I worry about ability to snag many of "Goose Gossage" Sindelars bullets later today.

Northwestern is a team that finds ways to win games. Purdue is trying to get there.

26-20 NU.

Unscientific analysis of PU receiving roster based on where they were born/raised vs ability to catch in winter weather conditions;

Only Anthrop played HS football north of Mason/Dixon line.

I suppose Mahoungou does come from the northern hemisphere as well (Paris, FR)

I also realize it probably means nothing-just an observation....................

F-ing garbage. You had a mother f-ing 2nd and 2 at the 42 and that's what happens... that's piss poor everything

Don’t like the Sparks package if he isn’t a threat to throw!

Don’t like going on 4th and 2 when you have zero offense and are relying on your defense. pin them deep. You going to wih with defense today.

That was just terrible play calling. Stop the Jared Sparks experiment, everyone knows he isn't passing. Killed the drive and flipped the field. Come on!!!

Brohm shouldn’t have gone for that 4th down. Too aggressive for his own good at times is his downfall right now. Had Purdue punted, NU likely punts on their fourth down instead of going for it.
