After last week’s respective performances, the B1G announced this morning that the kickoff would be at 8:20 AM.

The B1G defended this controversial decision by asserting that the early kickoff time would discourage those in the Mountain and Pacific time zones from tuning in, and those that do might accidentally mistake the broadcast for a Saturday morning farm report, and thus not pay too much attention. Further, airing the game during Saturday morning cartoons was deemed to be the best way to avoid frightening small children.

Athletic Director Morgan Burke hailed the move as bold, decisive, and cost-cutting since it would substantially decrease attendance. "Hell, we've already got their money, and it's not as if people going to buy tickets at this point," said Burke. "This way we don't have to pay people to clean up the tailgate lots afterwards. It's a win-win, which is a lot better than we've had recently."

If successful, the noon kickoff time for the 2015 homecoming game will be moved to 5:45 AM. Given the enhanced wireless signal now available in Ross-Ade, all iPhone users will be asked to turn on the flashlight function until sunrise at 7:52 AM.

Funny stuff! Especially the part about MB "saving" money!
