I predict a somewhat low scoring game. Be a tough one on the road. Purdue 66-60.
We need to keep Tum Tum from driving, I doubt anyone on the team can stay in front of him. He has LewJack speed.
Edwards is going to have to win the battle against Bridges, who's extremely athletic. If we can get their Freshman big in foul trouble we should roll, Biggie need to be prepared to hear it from their crowd, although I really think he feeds off that kind of stuff..

I like the way you think! I would be very surprised if we beat them by that much, but I'm all for it!!
I'm actually extremely optimistic about this one. Playing at MSU hasnt been a house of horrors for Painter as other places have i.e. O$U. I think we see good/scary good Purdue in this one. Score 85-72 but it will only be that close based on garbage time points by sparty.

Have a bad feeling and MSU is desperate. This will be an ugly, grinder game. Their undersized and overmatched post players with be reaching and grabbing IH and Biggie from the opening tip. Some expendable player like Van Dyke will stick his face into Isaac's elbow, Izzo will go berserk, and after a monitor review and an earful, the refs will issue a flagrant 2. Without any front court depth, Biggie and Vince get gassed in the second half, MSU grabs 15 offensive rebounds, while we turn the ball over 15 times.

Don't worry.. We'll beat them by 25 in Mackey. KenPom will appreciate the difference. But RPI won't, and MSU will sneak into the tourney. We'll get a 6 seed and a horrible first round matchup against some hot shooting mid major. MSU will get an 11 seed and draw Watson-less Creighton in the first round and a 14 seed Cinderella in the second. That's the glass half full version!
Still not drinking the kool-aid. I see MSU winning. Hope I'm wrong but I don't think we're not tough enough to win in that environment. 75-72 Sparty.
Hearing that the bug hit the team this week and some guys may be under 100%.... I'm a optimist so I still say....

Izzo will have his guys pushing and shoving and grabbing and make a physical game of it. Unlike AJ and JJ, Biggie and Haas are up to the task.
Just keep their cool, stay out of foul trouble and they'll be fine.
Can CE and PJ guard Tum Tum? Can Tum Tum guard CE?

And Haas and Caleb will be called for a foul because they allowed themselves to be grabbed. R as you surmised, a flagrant two will be called on Hass for actions similar to the Wisconsin game where Hayes faked a elbow to the neck.
I haven't watched a ton of msu but I haven't been impressed by too much other than flashes of ward, bridges and winston. Narin is not as good as msu's floor leader usually is, I hope he plays more than winston.
Purdue looks better than msu in my opinion and I think it shows growth tonight winning a tough game.
