Purdue - most rebounds in country

Just messing with stats tools and saw that Purdue has the most rebounds of any team in the country so far this year with 495! They also lead in defensive rebounds and have the 4th most assists of any team in the country so far.

One of the reasons for that is that Purdue has played 11 games. Their 45/game average ranks fourth. Another factor that helps Purdue get a lot of defensive boards is that teams shoot a very low percentage against Purdue. It doesn't hurt that Purdue doesn't force a lot of turnovers, as well. That said, the most important factor is that Purdue's defensive rebounding percentage of 80.2% is ninth in the country and Purdue's offensive percentage of 34% isn't bad either at 54th.
