Since there is no info here on Moorehead State should I assume that the point of your post was to take the opportunity to pencil in Basil as a starter?

(tbc) means to be continued. That means I'm not done filling in the information but will continue to work on it before the Morehead State game tips off on Saturday.

I've done this before. This is not a first-time occurrence.

On Morehead State I am still trying to figure out if I have ever heard of the school. Do they have more head as in bigger brains? I guess the point is if Purdue wanted to prove something they had their chance to do it last night. There is only one thing that impresses me less than playing a school with a direction in the name. That would be by having the word "more" in the name somewhere. I think Purdue is the type of place where they see all games as equal except IU. That's why what happened last night happened.

Take for example the election. The whole world said Trump would lose. Yet, he played to win and won. I knew he would win. I knew because it is who he is. Like him or hate him he won with the whole world saying not. Sure, Purdue might beat Morehead. But last night showed us who they are. And they're not Trump level and that's all we need to know. If Purdue was going to do anything this year they needed to show it last night. You look at any team who did anything they never had a game like last night. They came to play every game, even if they lost they came to play. Purdue looked a lot like Karati kid but without the butterfly kick at the end of the movie. Other teams are sweeping Purdue leg, while Purdue is out there playing checkers at a chess match.

No, it wasn't. I believe that Painter might start Smotherman and bring VE off the bench as a means to firing him up and getting to him to play more like the way he's capable of playing.

Yeah, that's not gonna happen. If anything, Carsen will start over PJ.

Fair enough. I'd be shocked if that happened but I'm wrong all the time

I agree that CE will start. I predict that C Edwards will start and V Edwards will sit. Bank it. And it doesn't matter who Morehead plays. Leave it blank. Because Purdue will dominate with their outside shooting. With my system, I have never, ever been wrong with my predictions.

Whoever predicted that Smotherman will start over V Edwards in this game is out of touch and will be wrong... again.

;)

So I guess North Carolina and West Virginia just suck in your mind.

It wasn't about Vince coming off the bench. It was about your suggestion that Basil would replace him. Painter wisely went small because Moorehead State was a very small team and because Carsen deserved a start.

Uh-huh, sure
