Purdue/Michigan State overview

Something interesting about two of Michigan State's main frontcourt players is that both Miles Bridges and Nick Ward are left-handed. They can both finish around the rim with either hand (especially Bridges) but I'm sure they still prefer to go to their left when it's possible. It will be interesting to see if Swanigan, V. Edwards, and company remember that when guarding each of them.
Interesting point. I don't get why people rag your posts. Can't the weenies just put you on ignore if they don't won't to read a different perspective?

I don't ignore anyone. This site is only interesting if there are a variety of ideas being expressed. I just so happens that I think most of his are wrong. I do give him likes when his posts are strong. He gets "ragged" because he brings up the same stuff over and over to support a very tired agenda. As for the "left hand" post, I do not find that in itself interesting as it is basic scouting report stuff. I do find interesting though that no matter what level the game i coach that basic stuff must be reviewed. I wonder if somebody is telling Lebron to shade Curry's left before every game? As for the weenies comment, what do you know about any of these people? Only what they post. So what did you post?

I definitely don't put anyone on ignore, that would make this boring, and I understand that someone may judge the left hand comment as not being technical enough to earn a "like." I think a lot of posters, or groups, post the same stuff. Think of how many "your wrong" posts you see on here. I do apologize if you or anyone else was offended by my harsh usage of the word weenie.

Um. Weenies would use the ignore feature.

Haters will hate. One can't get overly concerned about that.

So who should match up on who (regulars) in Purdue's man-to-man D?

i think there's a good chance haas and biggie play together in this game. I know cmp has kind of gone away from that meta but this may be the kind of super physical game where you really want to lean on them.

Ha! Weenie as a harsh word. That is funny. No offense taken. I just know from experience that assigning a name tends to draw fire. I think That "your wrong" posts are simply part of the deal you make when you put a thought in writing. Some may try to soften the blow with an "in my opinion" opener but they are still disagreeing. That's OK. I try to provide a factual basketball reason for my dissenting posts but sometimes I don't take the time or maybe am in a shitty mood. It happens.
The only posters who irritate me are those who repeatedly get upset whenever someone doesn't agree with them.
Sometimes I miss the Rivals Hoosier fans who provided targets other than us so we canabalized less.

No zone was used and there was one pick-and-roll play for Carsen in the entire game but they got the win on the road! Swanigan, Haas, and VE did a good job of drawing fouls and making their FT's. The same goes for Thompson.

Boiler Up

I'm in a great mood! I loved how smart they played down the stretch. No quick shots. Kept working into Biggie. Nice work.
