Just wanted to say that I appreciate you putting these overviews together.

no problem

I still have to fill in the players' up-to-date stats (maybe overall team stats as well), as well as anything else I might consider worth mentioning. I don't follow all the metrics but if someone here does and wants to post it in this thread, I have no problem with that.

My expectations for this game are low. Don't like the matchup against a quick, athletic, hard-nosed team on their home court. Our bigs will be swarmed in the paint and don't expect a lot of whistles for that type of play. Haas on the other hand may be in foul trouble early.

I don't like Louisville's rebounding average. Very strong. Also we are 7 point underdogs. I like that bet.

Yes, they must be very active on the glass. Jaylen Johnson leads them in rebounding (will likely matchup with Swanigan) but Pitino has gone 11 players deep (although some of them in very limited minutes) in every game so far this season, so it's truly a collective effort for Louisville. Hopefully, Purdue's 8 (or 9 if you add in Cline) main rotation guys can outplay the Cardinals' core 8 (Snider, Mitchell, Adel, Johnson, Mathiang, King, Spalding, Mahmoud).

Boiler Up
