With the information I have read, this is how I see Purdue's FB team going into the season vs last season.
QB - Better, due to experience
RB - Same, this is somewhat unknown but with three powerful runners I think they will probably match last seasons numbers.
OL - Better, due to health, size, and experience
WR - Better, due to health, size, and experience
TE - Worse, due to loss of Sinz. Purdue doesn't use TEs much for receiving so Jurvevich may be good enough.
DL Interior - Better, due to experience and depth
DL Ends - Same (once Gelen returns), don't expect this position to be a strength and it wasn't much of one last season
LB - Better, due to experience
CB - Better, due to experience
S - Slightly worse, due to lack of experience but the position wasn't extremely strong last season
K - Better, due to experience
P - Better, due to experience
Coaching - Slightly better with new WR and TE coaches and more experience.
I don't have any idea how much better or worse each opponent will be this season versus last but from what I have read I believe most will be the same to slightly worse due to new coaches or graduations. Does anyone think that any of last season's opponents will be better this season?
