Love that we are up in this cursed arena especially with our horrific shooting. Going to need to shoot better to hold on to this

Horrible shooting from 3 and the FT line. But their 11 TO's helped. Need TKR to come out strong and help Smith.
Always have…just don’t lean or move. Caleb has been able to play a lot of minutes since it wasn’t long ago he wasn’t
Welp - before the game you'd probably take Boilers up 9 @ half. 2/13 from deep and 3/8 (with two front end misses) have hurt, though. Doing ok with turnovers (3). Need a strong second half and keep patient because Rutgers will still make a run or two. Didn't get much from TKR, saddled with two fouls. Furst and Heide helping out.
Rutgers thankfully also missed a couple of front ends as well, but those were their only two FT misses. Some of the 3-pt attempts have not been the best looks, IMO......thought Loyer got fouled on one of his.
Great D so far.

Rutgers isn't going for 24 again in H2. More like 40+, so Purdue better come out ready with the juice.....and continue the good D to hold them down as much as possible.

Obviously Bailey and Harper are concerns and 5 I think stroked a couple behind the arc, but I’m concerned about 21 allowed to be so physical inside. Can’t lose Trey or Caleb and yes hit the FTs and open 3s . On some of those threes they are not ready to shoot before getting the ball. 20 minutes hold on!!!
they're gonna make a run, got to make some 3 's and improve FT's to offset it
one thing w/ Bailey an assist is a foreign concept, he gets the ball it's going up.
If Purdue is even respectable from 3, we’re spending this halftime arguing over who on the bench needs extended minutes the most😎
Loyer w/ his usual bad pass, TKR turns into a butcher when he doesn't get his touches

God as a former PG who constantly threw passes to my bigs just like that one to Birgess that hits him in the ****ing face for a free 2 pts I am getting PTSD. God blessed u with size, can u atleast catch the ball
Boilers gotta keep embracing the physicality because Rutgers is going to bring it.
