Games like this will happen this year on the road in the B1G, unfortunately…
Well side to side play against a good D , eating us for lunch, State will be ranked next week , CMP gonna have some words of encouragement at half .
Penn State and KY both lost at Clemson by 8 points...Penn State is good but we are making them look too good. This game is lost...just win the 2nd half.

Well, not much good to say about that half. Let’s see if the team quits or not in H2.
Painter has to be pretty disappointed with that effort. Losing is one thing, but that kind of effort and unfocused mistakes is another. Won't say they are out of it, but Purdue will need a major adjustment and a huge effort in the second half.

How many games has Heide scored over 3? What about Berg? What about Harris?
14 TO's in one half is unacceptable. If Smith is to be considered an elite PG, he needs to take over games like this and impose his will. Can't disappear like he did in 1st half. Not saying it's all his fault, but our problems in this game and Marquette start with him.
Not saying you’re wrong, but was he a liability against bama or Mississippi?

This half we need to dictate the tempo, reduce the turnovers, and knock down our shots this half. We can do this.
Heide has had one good game so far and folks were ready to crown him.
He's got massive potential but he needs to start bringing it to bear more consistently. Too many games where he just disappears.
I would just like to see a good half to start....and work from there. That's three straight pretty bad halves in the Purdue road games so far, which hopefully doesn't turn into a major concern.

Curse of The Tomb? although Purdue has won 8 straight and 17/18 in the series......not looking like they will extend those tonight.
It might be the way to get back in the game....can't be any worse than the half court offense, tonight. Smith with three fouls doesn't help.
