CMP love affair with M, not paying off tonight.
This is where CMP isn't at his best. We will see how he tweaks things for the second half, but when the entire team isn't ready to play and is just getting out hustled on both sides of the ball...coach needs to look inward.
Why Gillis doesn’t play with Edey I’ll never know. Always our best lineup, and they rarely play together. First he starts Furst, now TKR. Anyone but Gillis and it makes no sense

Normally I would say ball game, but this team can play with anybody. I've watched teams come back on the Boilers, why can't Purdue do the same? Have faith, I think they steal this one right at the end.

Not gonna lie. I get the feeling that every team is getting up and ready to play us, and we do not match that intensity. Maybe we have the “doesn’t matter if we don’t do it in March” in the back of their minds.
This might be a team that kinda sleepwalks in conference play and doesn’t play intense until the tournament.
I really never thought I’d see a Painter team like that, but our intensity in these road environments makes me think it.

Yea wouldn't surprise me if Purdue goes for 40+ in H2. Key is holding NE down while doing so.....tougher said than done.
Certainly the game's not over, and Nebraska can give up leads. However, Purdue will have to play much smarter and ramp up the intensity big time to do it. ZE showed some frustration....needs to channel that better, IMO.
Let's see how they come out these first few minutes. Two missed front ends didn't help either.
Purdue hasn’t been down more than 5 at halftime all season, but this Purdue team can get right back into. Hopefully, Edey can stay out of foul trouble.
