I know you haters will be on here with all your "wisdom", but the turnaround this team and staff did was amazing. It sucks to lose (lets be real we weren't getting passed UK), but the shots just weren't falling (And no KS, is not to "blame").

Like I said you haters can hate all you want but you're only going to look foolish in doing so, this team fought even when things weren't going their way and turned what could of been a terrible season around in to a NCAA bid and a building block to the future.

I, for one, can't wait to see them play next season.

Ya, I'm pretty happy with what these guys did this year. Stumbled a bit down the stretch, but I really like how Mathias, Edwards, and Haas grew this year.

By the way, Isaac had a good game tonight.

Agree with this 100%. Get effort, great game. Give Cincy credit for playing just a little better. We had our chances, they just won more of them.

All the Painter haters who have been in hiding since December will magically reappear. This wasn't painter's fault, we just couldn't hit a shot all night. Never seen such bad 3 point shooting but many of them were good looks.

This was a great season overall for re-establishing the culture at Purdue and resume our winning ways. We will be strong next year and all Boilers should be cheerful about our future.

Wow, three reasonable comments in a row. What a nice surprise.

I completely agree. There were lots of mistakes today, and it feels like this was one we should have won, but the future is bright. Edwards, Mathias, and Haas all showed up today. And given Hammons' position on most draft boards, you have to believe that he is back as well.

Very disappointing loss, but it's hard to be disappointed with the season as a whole.

You guys serious? We blew that game in horrific fashion. Cincy didn't outplay us, we shot ourselves in the face. What an embarrassment on the biggest stage.

Get ready for another round of Purdue jokes on every national media circuit tomorrow morning. But yeah, can't wait til next year.

Go back to the F$U board

Agree with BBG and all the other fans...........can't wait till next season! I always hate it when basketball is over.

Playing devils advocate. What really did Purdue do this year? Who did we beat that was good? Why did our sophomores regress? Why praise mediocrity?

Well, we beat an eventual 10 seed in IU and OSU. Ok, we did CRAP. And we lose our best PG again this year. 2 sweet 16's in 10 years and 1 co... shared B1G championship in 10 freaking years. Fire Painter already, unless you are ok with a sweet 16 every 5 years and a shared B1G Championship every 10. And those were on much better teams than we have this year, next year and based on what we know in the future.

Well said, BBG.

I'm kind of torn. I can't really say I'm proud, because they did slightly worse than I thought they would do this year. True, we had a nice turn around mid year, but we shouldn't have had that blip in our season to begin with. We did, though, and we were able to turn it around. It was just an all around strange year for me, but that is to be expected with what little experience we had. Oh well, on to next year.

You know and you are not wrong and hit on a good point ... our lack of experience I think hurt us a bit too. But what a future Dakota and Edwards have. If AJH comes back, we could be very good next year (just need a consistent PG).
