That would be high praise, indeed. Many are all over the map (usually negative) when it comes to reflections on Scott Skiles, but that kid was as tough as they come.....I remember watching that '82 IHSAA Tournament where he took Plymouth all the way. And he managed to carve out a nice NBA career for himself as the game was transitioning.

I do think Mr. Smith will be a welcomed addition as a Boiler and will fit in very well. It's been a little rocky the last month, but CMP still has the program overall on a very good trajectory, IMHO.

Skiles was an outstanding player and absolutely got the most out of what he had...in HS, college and the NBA.

For sure. Some fans here that haven't had the opportunity are going to learn what it means to have a true floor general.

Smith and his Westfield team knocked off #1 Carmel tonight...he scored the ultimate winning basket.

He is a true floor general for sure, and, he just plays hard, and, only cares about winning.
