And yet miles ahead of you.Lol, Twin is slower than most.
Here, I just thought it was a stutter. I’m waiting for Brandon’s Twitter account to be suspended for “spreading disinformation”Fair enough. But my question still stands, because if you replace "senator" in his sentence with "president," then it is correct. So, how did you determine, given two possibilities, that the more likely explanation is that he forgot what job he used to have as opposed to him simply saying the wrong word in the moment? You seem to have some knowledge of what was going on in his head that I don't, so I just want to know how you came to the conclusion you did.
So you don't have an answer. Ok.Here, I just thought it was a stutter. I’m waiting for Brandon’s Twitter account to be suspended for “spreading disinformation”
I guess Brandon was stuttering/mis-speaking when he said inflation was “transitory”
it’s great when someone mid-speaks, after a while you don’t know what to believe…🤷♂️
Oh, nevermind, I forgot I can just listen to President Psaki for the cleaned up version on aisle 9.
Brandon is the President. How many people mis-speak what their current job is? And confuse it with the job they had 14 years ago.So you don't have an answer. Ok.
I don't know. Do you? Can you provide a source?Brandon is the President. How many people mis-speak what their current job is? And confuse it with the job they had 14 years ago.
I'm not denying that. But, the crux of the discussion is that Trump makes similar errors frequently and you seem totally fine to just chalk them up to him mis-speaking and not attribute it to an underlying cognitive issue. You're not willing to give Biden the same benefit of the doubt, and I'm trying to figure out what justification you have for this disparity. How do you know Trump just misspoke at the rally that Bob mentioned? Couldn't it also be true that he couldn't remember the name of the person he explicitly went to said rally to endorse? Could that be evidence of a cognitive problem?im sure that happens everyday….not. Oh, and it’s happened to Brandon more than once.
It's not my assessment, it's the NY Post's, among others. But I will say that if you hear the rest of the context of what he said, it's pretty clear what he intended to say.But…stutter. That’s it…it’s a stutter problem when he says “senator” when, per your assessment, he meant “President”.
Are you suggesting a stutter affects writing? There are a lot of students that must stutter when they get Cs on a test be cause the put in the wrong answer. Speaking of C students….And Joe must be stuttering when he says he was a “professor.”
It really isn't, as I said, if you hear the full context, it's pretty clear what he meant.ill keep waiting for the translation from President Psaki. It’s sad when a translator is needed for the President especially for people who (supposedly) speak his language.
Ok.Sss ssss stut. Sssstutter. Th th that’s his pr problem.🤦♂️ I have heard people stutter and they get their words right, it just takes a little longer.
What you are saying is that he mis-spoke/forgot he was President. Seems pretty hard to believe.I don't know. Do you? Can you provide a source?

Personally, I think he probably just mis-spoke under the pressure of public speaking. It seems a likely explanation because we know mis-speaking when public speaking is not uncommon for people in general and we know that Trump, specifically, frequently mis-speaks.

Ok.
So, you still haven't answered my question. We can both agree that Biden said "senator" at a time when it doesn't make sense to do so. There have been two proposed explanations:
1. Biden said what he meant, which must mean he forgot that Delaware has indeed had senators and, further, he must have forgotten that he served in that role himself.
2. Biden, a man with a long history of speaking errors, made a speaking error, incorrectly using the word "senator" when he meant to say "president."
I don't purport to know which explanation is true, but one of them seems much more likely to me, given what we know about his speaking history. The question I've been trying to get you to answer is how you determined explanation 1 is true because, as far as I'm aware, you don't have access to any more information than I do regarding this incident.
I'm not saying he forgot he was president. You're saying he forgot he was a senator. Provide evidence. That's all I'm asking. What you are saying is that he mis-spoke/forgot he was President. Seems pretty hard to believe.
Why bring up other things when we haven't settled on the first one, yet?how about Joe stating he was a full professor. Did he “mis-speak” on that occasion? Or was he in Biden Fantasyland where a C student has something in common with a real Professor…or maybe he graduated in the top half of his class.
That's fine for you to think, but I still can't figure out why you don't hold Trump to the same standard. Is he really the most honest person ever, as he has stated? Is he really the president who did the most for black people ever, as he has stated? Is he really a stable genius, as he has stated?im sure that was just Joe struggling with public speaking (or not). It maybe that’s the “truth” behind all of his gaffes. He been doing since 1987, and I’m sure well before that.
I think Biden Fantasyland is a more plausible explanation, but, you do you.
Here I thought you wanted to stay on topic then more “whataboutism”I'm not saying he forgot he was president. You're saying he forgot he was a senator. Provide evidence. That's all I'm asking.

Think what you want about Biden, but don't pretend you don't have a double standard when it comes to these two people. Have a good day.
Sure Indy. I didn't vote for the senile old bastard like you did.Lol, Twin is slower than most.
That's right Bob....in less than 18 months, Biden has destroyed the liberal's chances. How'd all those Trump supported candidates do in Ohio yesterday?Wow. 2-1/2 years out. Historically high inflation. I would hope so.
What was the spread? You didn't post the poll.
Here's some.

How'd that never Trumper Vance do yesterday Bob?I've said they're both too old.........all of you say only one is.
I don't believe Joe forgot what he did for 4 decades.
And BTW, this name you claim he forgot, JD Vance is an award winning author who was an anti trump Republican of the highest level in Ohio. Then he miraculously did a complete 180 and be ame a trump loyalist. Do you follow this stuff? This has been a huge race in Ohio and trump damn well knows who Vance is. The problem is his opponent, Josh Mandel kisses his ass too. Neither one are called JP.
Trump has been making mistakes for years as well but all we heard was anybody who pointed it out had TDS.......the answer for any and every criticism.
You seem to think your game is only fair if your side is the only one that gets to play.
Miles, and miles, and miles ahead. And yet miles ahead of you.
You forgot he was almost kicked out of college for openly plagiarizing another's speech. Twice. What you are saying is that he mis-spoke/forgot he was President. Seems pretty hard to believe.

Yes, I often forget all of Joe’s historical gaffes or questionable behaviors. You forgot he was almost kicked out of college for openly plagiarizing another's speech. Twice.
He won with 32%. Your point? How'd that never Trumper Vance do yesterday Bob?
Whataboutism? Lol! I asked you how you know the reason Joe Biden used the wrong word in the incident in question and why you don't hold Trump to the same standard. You respond, not with anything that says how you know what you purport to know, but with other incidents that occurred. I simply offered other of Trump's incidents to, again, show that you have a double standard. They are both bad speakers and they both make false statements. According to you, that's evidence that Joe is a liar and mentally unwell. Why isn't it the same for Trump? Is he also a mentally unwell liar? If you're holding them to the same standard, based on the various mistakes they've both made in their speaking and based on false statements they've made, it seems to me you'd have to conclude that he is.Here I thought you wanted to stay on topic then more “whataboutism”
Regarding Trump and honesty…I have never said Trump was honest (nor would I) but I don’t sugar coat it and say that he “mis-spoke”. Can you say the same about “Honest Joe?”
Don’t worry, President Psaki has a broom and dust pan ready for her next press conference

What happened to 'Honest Joe?' President Biden's promises are turning into lies.
What’s become clear is that Biden’s “word” means virtually nothing and that he lies with the same ease as his predecessor.amp.courier-journal.com

Another conversation could be had about the number of speaking mistakes either has made, though I don't know how we'd ever gather the data. Yet another could be had about the number and magnitude of false statements each has made. But, the whole thing that started this was your apparent position that Trump using the wrong name is just a minor speaking error while Biden using the wrong word is evidence of cognitive dysfunction. I've asked you to justify why one is worse than the other and the only thing you can come up with is that Joe was a senator for 40 years, so how could he possibly forget? Well, you don't know that he DID forget. All you know is he said the wrong word. Neither of us knows WHY he said the wrong word, but you've made up your mind anyway. Anyway, I've no more interest in this topic.

Joe thought he'd get free ice cream if he ran and won.Did you read the article on “Honest Joe”? Did Joe run on a Presidency of being honest?

We'll see. But it's a great story. Former never Trumper flip flops to get nomination.
Let's see what happens to trump endorsed Perdue against Kemp in Georgia. Lots of races where trump endorsed candidates are in trouble.
The worst thing is trump doesn't care about the policy positions of those he is endorsing. Fealty to him is the only requirement
