Most predictors have us 5-7 and around 6th in the big ten. Apparently when other teams get good coaches, it’s amazing. When purdue does it means they have to start way back in the 1800s building Purdue up from scratch.
Two prediction videos seem to indicate that Fresno state will beat us.. without taking into account that schools like Fresno state have been losing most of their best players to transfer.
I really can only make a case that one school should walk on us… Michigan. And Michigan only put up 19 points on Illinois last year. Ohio state will have a new QB at Purdue. Wisconsin should change the look of their offense, but in 4 weeks? They put up 10 points on Illinois last year.
I think this is a 7-5/9-3 team that could challenge for the big ten west again.. I’ve seen no evidence that it will be much better of a division than last year.
